The tour guide
With a background in teaching, storytelling, travelling and writing, there are few things I enjoy more than inhaling sublime scents and sharing my interest with others.
My obsession with perfume began in childhood when I made perfume from the orange blossom tree in our garden. I moved on from making “perfume potions” borrowed from the bathroom shelf to collecting avon perfume bottles. As a teenager I would rip out perfume advertisements and blue tack them to my bedroom wall.
15 years ago I started collecting and using incense and exploring fragrance from the Arabian world. Then ten years ago I began collecting rose oils after a visit to the spice bazaar in Istanbul.
Encouraged by friends and fellow fragrance connoisseurs, I am now offering these tours to the public, both visitors to London and to locals to share my love for all things fragrant.
